Christy (Christine) Maes has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations/Political Science from American University in Washington, DC. She also has a Master of Public Administration from DePaul University Chicago. In addition, she is a qualified CPST (Child Passenger Seat Technician). She continues to serve as a Public Sector Safety and Education consultant for Atheneum, headquartered in New York City, since November 2019. She serves as a certified Election Judge for DuPage County, IL and as an FDA certified cat foster parent for Catnap from the Heart in La Grange Park, IL, and Second Time Around Animal Rescue in Schaumburg, IL. Most recently, Christy accepted a position as a Business Analyst for a financial consulting firm, Strategic Voyages Business Consultants, based in Carpentersville, IL.
