Avetta, a provider of supply chain risk management, announced the company has been awarded a Gold Stevie® for Avetta Connect™: The Platform for Interconnecting Workers Across the Supply Chain. The company will be recognized at the 18th Annual American Business Awards® virtual awards ceremony on August 5. It’s the second consecutive year Avetta has been honored with a Gold Award.

The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), the world’s oldest professional safety organization, is bestowing the honor of Fellow on five longtime members who have made significant contributions to the occupational safety and health profession. Ashok Garlapati, Zack Mansdorf, Terrie Norris, James Thornton and Jeffrey Vincoli are the 2020 recipients of the Society’s highest honor. 

The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) has selected its first group of recipients for a new award and professional development program that aims to advance occupational safety and health careers while supporting the entire profession.

Independent research firm Verdantix announced the 11 winners of the annual EHS Innovation Awards at the Verdantix Summit in Atlanta. The international awards recognize organizations which have implemented innovative EHS technologies.
