OSHA is requesting comment on a voluntary program that specifies the
criteria and conditions under which labs may control and audit certain
satellite facilities.
U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao appeared

OSHA’s national 2008 Teen Summer Job Safety Campaign.
Several contractors in
Westchester County, N.Y., will face $130,600 in fines after a cave-in hazard
was spotted at public library construction site by an OSHA ‘drive-by’ inspection.

contractors, chiefly from western and central New York, have been cited by OSHA

Galleria Mall construction project in Cheektowaga, N.Y. The combined penalties could total $135,700.
OSHA
Region 2 announced it has joined with the New Jersey Department of Labor and
Workforce Development On-Site Consultation Program, and the Gateway Regional
Chamber of Commerce.
