DuPont Tyvek Plus and Tyvek Xpert garments
DuPont Tyvek® Plus and Tyvek® Xpert garments are composed of flash spun high-density polyethylene, a nonwoven material available only from DuPont. Tyvek® Plus garments offer high resistance to abrasion and tearing. The serged and over-taped seams provide an effective barrier against many water-based inorganic chemicals in low concentration and particles down to 1.0 micron in size. Tyvek® Xpert garments have been tested to standards against light liquid aerosols and airborne solid particles, and provide an effective barrier against small size particles down to 1.0 micron in size.
