In alignment with its continued quest to equip safety practitioners for protecting the people and environment around them, the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) has unveiled an exciting new platform for professional development.
Known simply as The Hub, this repository of information is designed with all safety professionals in mind. Featuring content for those at various stages of their careers, from diverse backgrounds, and with different responsibilities, there is truly something for everyone.
By definition, a hub is the center of activity, the point at which all parts of a whole meet up. The Hub, therefore, is a fitting name for this new venture. It represents the intersection where all safety professionals come together, the connection point.
“We are thrilled to unveil The Hub as a further outgrowth of our commitment to enhance careers, reaching beyond certification,” said BCSP CEO Christy Uden, CAE, IOM. “Open to everyone, The Hub provides access to a library of resources that will assist safety practitioners at all career stages in carrying out their daily responsibilities, aid their professional growth, and advance safety practice as a whole.”
The Hub offers industry knowledge, best practices, expert insight, and a place to connect with other safety professionals. It features content in a variety of formats – from articles and eBooks to videos and webinars to podcasts and interviews – designed for a range of learning styles.
The Hub offers insight for specific safety-related tasks as well as overarching principles for safety leadership. It will be an ever-growing, regularly updated library, expanding with tools for the challenges and responsibilities safety professionals face.
From the frontline worker to the senior executive, The Hub has something to offer. Visit BCSPHUB.COM to check it out today. Users with a BCSP profile can log in to view content using their credentials, while new users can sign up for a free account.
