The collaboration between SEA and BCSP aims to provide safety professionals with enhanced resources, information about certifications, and educational opportunities.

This year's Awards of Excellence recognize BCSP credential holders in the categories of Certified Safety Professional® (CSP®) and, for the first time, Certified Instructional Trainer® (CIT®). 

In his most recent President's Message, the Board of Safety Professionals President highlighted some improvements and goings on at the organization.

Ashok Garlapati, CSP, QEP, CFIOSH, FASSP will serve as Board President, joined by Bruce D. Hollcroft, CSP, ARM, CHMM as Vice President.

Full-time safety professionals responding to the 2023 survey had a median salary of $105,000, climbing $7,000 from the previous survey in 2020.
