The data has been collected in the annual OSHA Top Ten Violation Report for 2015, which reveals that the total number of incidents were down 4.5% from 2014, and 11% from 2013. What began as a fire in a titanium dust collection system at a precision machining shop in Vernon resulted in OSHA identifying and citing 20 safety and health violations at Soldream Inc. Proposed fines total $59,290.
San Diego CA -- OSHA announced at the National Safety Congress and Expo here in San Diego the preliminary top ten most frequently cited workplace safety violations for fiscal year 2014 (Oct 1 2013 – Sept 30 2014).
Respiratory protection violations were at the top of a recently-published list of the five most common citations issued by OSHA to collision repair shops in 2013.
