The National Safety Council has become the seventh organization to join the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health Total Worker Health Affiliate Program. The program focuses on increasing the number of work environments that support the integration of occupational safety and health protection with health promotion.

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) is preparing to host the 1st International Symposium to Advance Total Worker Health, which will be held October 6-8 in Bethesda, MD.
The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Office for Total Worker Health (TWH)™ recently launched an Affiliate Program in order to increase the number of work environments that support the overall safety, health and well-being of workers. Inaugural members of the NIOSH TWH Affiliate Program include the University of Colorado, School of Public Health and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
