Safety requirements are getting stricter due to updates to the Electric Power Generation, Transmission, and Distribution (1910.269) and Electrical Protective Equipment (1926 subpart V) standards from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

OSHA has just announced a delay in the enforcement of compliance regarding the recently released changes to the standards for electric power generation, transmission and distribution installations (1910.269 & Subpart V).
