Today SMG announces that James Green has been named Marketing Communications Manager. As the Marketing Communications Manager, James will be responsible for helping SMG and our members increase their digital presence, help develop marketing ideas, as well as help out with some of the more technical aspects of SMG’s website and back-end software.
Safety Marketing Group, a network of independently owned safety equipment distributors, has signed an agreement with GCommerce, a leading provider of distribution supply chain connectivity solutions. SMG and GCommerce will be working together to facilitate electronic document exchange between its distributor members and their suppliers to automate the procurement cycle, including purchase orders, acknowledgements, ship notices and invoices.
