Workplace violence and harassment disproportionately harms women from underserved and historically marginalized communities, including women of color, LGBTQI+ individuals, women with disabilities and women affected by persistent poverty and inequality.
Funded through the Susan Harwood Training Grant Program, the grants are being awarded in three categories, namely Targeted Topic Training, Training and Educational Materials Development and Capacity Building grants.

To increase safety for U.S. workers,MEMIC offers $30,000 to researchers at the nation’s institutions of higher learning with a 2023 MEMIC Safety Research Grant. Apply by Oct. 20.
The 2023 awards include $305,500 in academic scholarships for 107 graduate and undergraduate students preparing for or supplementing their occupational safety and health careers at 52 colleges and universities.
