Falls from heights “remain the leading cause of fatalities and serious injuries in all industries,” according to OSHA. To address these trends, OSHA has introduced a National Emphasis Program (NEP) and the ANSI/ASSP Z359 Full Committee continues to create and update standards. The National Emphasis Program allows OSHA to open inspections whenever they see someone working at heights — not just when they observe violations. Also, the new PPE proposal requires that PPE must fit the affected employee properly. Organizations can focus on a few key standards and regulations to instantly improve their fall protection program. Learn how in this webinar.
This session will help participants:
- Summarize the OSHA National Emphasis Program and identify steps you can take to prepare for it
