Virtual conferences are becoming a staple to complement good old bricks and mortar meetings. This is particularly important with travel budgets still tight, and the need to obtain certification maintenance points essential.
The International Council on Mining & Minerals (ICMM) has released the report of the Health and Safety Conference held in Santiago, Chile, in November 2012. The conference brought together 19 companies, over 300 delegates and five chief executives to share lessons and learn from each other.

With AIHce 2013 taking place in a little over a month, the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) is releasing additional information on the prestigious array of presenters it has lined up for the conference.
From the general (EHS leadership) to the specific (industry specific, that is), sessions that will be held at Safety 2013, June 24-27 in Las Vegas, represent both long-standing topics and emerging challenges.
