The 2024 Ohio Safety Congress and Expo takes place in Columbus March 27-29, three full days to learn, solve, and connect.

Safety 2024 will be held Aug. 7-9 in Denver. Presentations should address key occupational safety and health issues as well as emerging matters and innovations relevant to the profession.

The registered attendance of 5,937 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center surpassed ASSP’s previous record of 5,905 from Safety 2019 in New Orleans. It is one of America’s largest annual conferences for the advancement of workplace safety and health that began in Chicago in 1962.

At ASSP’s Safety 2023 event in San Antonio in early June, Doug Parker, Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health, discussed the current state of OSHA and answered questions from audience live as they came in via text.

A transformation is occurring in a small but growing number of companies putting time, money and other resources into the health side of safety and health.

The event has just exploded, says ASSP official.
