Here’s a quick look at the layout of the various convention areas:

A live auction to benefit concrete industry students will be among the special events at WOC 2019. The Concrete Industry Management Program (CIM) helps populate the concrete industry with talented individuals with college degrees. Four universities strategically placed across the country offer four-year degrees in CIM.

From concrete crushers to tough trucks, demonstrations taking place at WOC will give concrete industry professionals the opportunity to see innovative products at use in real-work situations. Among the exhibitors: MB Crusher America, Inc.; OZTEC Industries and Ford Commercial Vehicles.

Changes in technology and infrastructure have opened up new pathways for opportunities. The 2019 World of Concrete Education Program offers 187 sessions providing training and certification, safety, leadership and construction fundamentals and more—all vital to your growth and profitability.

World of Concrete will have pavilions at two upcoming shows in Canada. The World of Concrete Toronto Pavilion will be at the Buildings Show, November 28-30, 2018 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Canada. The Buildings Show provides an unforgettable experience as Canada’s largest event for products, services, educational programming and professional networking for the Design, Architecture, Construction, Renovation and Real Estate sectors.

Wolfram Diener (54) started his job as operational manager of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH on 1 October 2018. Being responsible for A+A, he handles the world’s biggest trade forum for personal protection, operational safety and health at work. A+A was first launched in 1954 and helps to increase worldwide attention to the issues of occupational health and safety and corporate health management.

The National Institute for Occupational Safety’s (NIOSH) Total Worker Health® (TWH) model will be the focus of a session at the American Society of Safety Professionals’ (ASSP) Seminarfest 2019 in Las Vegas.
