Preliminary results released last week by the Bureau of Labor Statistics' National Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries show a slight decline in occupational fatalities.
The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) commended the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) on its recently released ‘Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) Review’ report noting that its recommendations would help encourage the involvement of employers who have joined with their workers in a commitment to safe and healthy workplaces in VPP.
