A federal grand jury in the Northern District of Ohio has indicted two managers at Extrudex Aluminum Inc. in Ohio for conspiracy to obstruct justice during a 2012 workplace fatality investigation by OSHA. The UN’s International Marine Organization (IMO) is endorsing diver safety proposals from the International Organization of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) and the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA).
The IMO voted to approve joint amendments to existing codes on diver safety which will harmonize the codes “with current industry practice.”
