Center offers fall safety and confined space rescue training

Capital Safety, home of the DBI-SALA® and PROTECTA® brands, announced today it has opened a new training center in Tustin, California, one of 20 state-of-the-art training centers Capital Safety now offers worldwide, in addition to on-site training and online training tools and services.
"Employers and cell tower owners and operators must make sure workers are properly trained and protected, said OSHA chief Dr. David Michaels in issuing a directive to keep communication tower workers safe. The directive follows an alarming increase in preventable injuries and fatalities at communication tower work sites, according to OSHA.
The high-hazard telecommunications tower industry claimed another victim Nov. 23rd in Wichita, Kansas, further fueling OSHA’s concern about the alarming increase in preventable injuries and fatalities at tower worksites.
