Bullard’s SparxLift Welding Helmet is NIOSH approved for use as a Supplied Air Respirator (SAR) system. The SparxLift SAR system, offering six flow control options, provides respiratory protection and ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2010 high impact face protection in a single package for welders and grinders.
Featuring an Auto Darkening Filter (ADF) and unique patented AutoLift design, SparxLift allows users to quickly switch from welding to grinding with the push of a button. SparxLift is equipped with optically correct Ultraviolet (UV) and Infrared (IR) filters to provide users with superior protection and viewing performance. The helmet’s ADF reacts to prevent flash in 1/25,000 of a second and UV and IR filters provide full-time protection. Equipped with the patented Inner Sense™ feature, SparxLift detects the Radio Frequency (RF) signal produced by Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welders to darken the screen before the arc is struck. Innovative Z-slide ADF cartridge design with X-View filter allows for easy maintenance while providing a crisp, clean view from almost any angle.
Supplied air respirators deliver compressed air through a breathing air hose, that has been NIOSH approved as part of the complete respirator system, to workers wearing either loose-fitting hoods or tight-fitting facemasks. Bullard offers a variety of supplied air respirators for workers in various applications.
