Combustible gas detector by Scott Safety

Scott Safety’s Spyglass Open Path Combustible Gas Detector is a pair of optical units, one an infrared light source, the other an IR detector, that are separated by a distance and work together to detect the presence of combustible gases in the atmosphere between the two units. Designed for accuracy and reliability, the system detects hydrocarbon gases by analyzing the absorption of radiation caused by gases in the atmosphere and comparing it to background atmospheric absorption.
