Gone are the days when convention-goers who wanted to stay organized had to scribble notes on the margins of their paper brochures, or mark asterisks next to the sessions they wanted to attend or the speakers they wished to hear.
You can still do that, of course. But for Safety 2014, you’ll be able to download an app for your smart phone that will let you keep track of the jam-packed conference schedule and personalize it to help you make the most of your time.
The app, which will be available in the spring, will let users gain access to:
- their personalized agenda
- speaker presentations
- session tracks
- bios for speakers
- interactive maps
- exhibitor guide
- event details
The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), sponsor of Safety 2014, says the custom-built Safety 2014 Conference App loads quickly and easily from the App Store or the Android Market.
“This native app is available for iPhone, iPad, or Android to personalize your schedule, take notes, share contacts, and more,” according to ASSE. “Blackberry users can access our html 5 version as well.”
