Content for the 2014 IGA Glove Symposium was sculpted from direct feedback and survey results of those who attended last year’s conference.  This is just one more way that illustrates how the IGA serves the needs and requests of our membership.  Every member and every attendee has a voice in the direction of our industry.

Marketing tools

What determines where and how you advertise? What are the best resources? Are there other options available? Are you investing too much or too little in strategies, hoping to increase your revenue? How do we accurately analyze our market, factoring that many within our industry are privately owned?

These are just some of the questions we can expect to be answered during this informative session addressing marketing in 2014. The International Glove Association has resourced experts to address these topics, as well as others, so that our members are equipped to see increases in sales and production!

Global logistics

Does a manufacturer or distributor need to be great at the global supply chain to succeed? The answer is obviously, Yes. Given this situation, global logistics and trade management are becoming broad level concerns. This is your opportunity to verify that you are making the most efficient and cost-effective decisions concerning your shipping and transportation policies and practices.

What’s new in our market

For the first time, the IGA is going to open the floor to attendees!  This session will give our members the opportunity to share what’s new regarding textiles, innovations, and advancements that are occurring in our industry.  In an effort to protect information shared, presentations from this portion of the IGA Symposium will not be available on our website, but contact information only.  If you are interested to see what the future holds for hand and arm protection, you won’t want to miss this session!

If you are interested in presenting during this time, please contact the IGA offices at 814-328-5208.

Space is limited, as companies will be limited to 20 minutes for presentations.

IGA General Membership Meeting

Annual Market Data will be presented during the general membership meeting.  This valuable information is available to members only.  The recent addition of quarterly market updates and data will also be discussed.  Member feedback is appreciated!

The IGA Education and Training Program will be unveiled during the annual membership meeting.  During the past year, many IGA members have contributed to this important endeavor.  Training schedules, fees, and opportunities will be released to IGA members.  This in-depth training and education will provide attendees with more glove knowledge and understanding than any other education program available.  This has been designed to give your sales team an edge in our industry!

What’s New for the IGA:  The IGA is the Voice of the Glove Industry, the voice of our membership.  New initiatives are the result of membership feedback and suggestions.  If you have an opinion about the direction of our industry, this is your opportunity to make your voice heard!  We want to hear from you, we are here to serve you, our members!
