Retractable blade by The Safety Knife Company
The Safety Knife Company has developed its first retractable knife. The new REAKTA heavy-duty cutter was inspired by the construction/drywall industry, but it will perform general cutting tasks. The knife blade locks in the “out” position while a controlled cut is made. If the knife is jerked, shaken or dropped, the blade will retract. Molded in tough glass-filled nylon, the REAKTA, offers two blade possibilities — the standard straight blade or the hook blade.
