Vendor NewsLehigh Outfitters, an online retailer of work and safety footwear serving companies nationwide, has launched a kiosk program that allows workers to order footwear from the workplace for themselves or their entire staff with just the push of a button.

The kiosks are a part of the CustomFit program, an industrial safety shoe program that eliminates the selection, cost and availability issues associated with using shoe trucks or other group purchase programs.

The CustomFit program provides a website dedicated specifically to each company for ordering workplace footwear, and the kiosks eliminate the need for workers to have regular Internet access or savvy computer skills in order to get the footwear they need.

For customers to learn more about how the CustomFit program works, Lehigh has created a helpful and entertaining instructional video available by clicking here.

“The CustomFit Kiosk is the next step in Lehigh Outfitters continuing to serve workplace managers and employees with quality and comfortable footwear,” said Tad Thornton, VP of Sales for Lehigh Outfitters. “These kiosks put more than 41 different brands and more than 1,500 styles with every needed safety feature at the tip of their fingers.”

The CustomFit website, accessible through the kiosk, also includes an online Safety Resource Center with information and detailed specifications for all types of footwear including protective toe, slip resistant, electrical hazard, static dissipative, puncture resistant, metatarsal and many others. The resource center also provides information to assist managers in establishing safety footwear guidelines.
