It’s the EHS version of the Academy Awards: a media festival taking place in Frankfurt, Germany in 2014 will honor the best media productions about occupational safety and health.
The International Media Festival for Prevention will give awards to films and multimedia applications that increase risk awareness on the part of employees or provide information on comprehensive safety topics.
“Moving images support the transfer of knowledge,” say the festival’s organizers. “Media makers have to keep up-to-date since viewing habits and technological developments are constantly changing. What is happening today? What are the trends? How do other countries convey prevention messages?”
The festival aims to provide answers to these interesting questions and gives a broader worldview.
International feedback
The festival will not only offer a unique platform for ideas and exchange, but also provides an opportunity to present products to an international public of experts in safety and health at work. Clients and producers have the opportunity to obtain international feedback from all around the world.
