Revco Industries, the company behind the Black Stallion and BSX brands, is excited to present the Arcster™ A60, one of the first arc rated gloves on the market.
With supple kidskin leather, the Arcster™ A60 is exceptionally comfortable and boasts an amazing level of dexterity for hand protection that has such a high relative arc rating. Contributing less to hand fatigue than styles with heavier stiff leather, this form-fitting glove allows for tremendous flexibility for a wide variety of work from inspection to light assembly, or even TIG welding. For extra protection, the longer cuff provides additional coverage between the glove and shirt sleeve. The Arcster™ A60 is constructed with a flame resistant cotton back, lined with FR insulation, and features Revco’s exclusive DragPatch® side reinforcement.
Tested under ASTM F1959 (modified panel), the Arcster™ A60 has been arc rated with an ATPV of 25.7 cal/cm². This glove is not rated for shock protection, and is therefore not for dielectric use. It should not be used in prolonged exposure to flame or heat, electrical protection requiring rubber insulating gloves, fire entry, or firefighting.
