The American Industrial Hygiene Association® (AIHA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) that establishes a working relationship between the two associations, allowing for knowledge sharing and issue collaboration.
Members of IAQA specialize in the assessment and/or mitigation of indoor environmental contamination, facilities management, and related interests. Members of AIHA specialize in the preservation of worker health and safety. These organizations will work together to address indoor air quality and environmental issues.
“This MOU allows two premiere professional associations to share information and increase communication about projects of mutual interest. We are proud to engage in the partnership, as this MOU provides strong support to both organizations,” Donald Weekes, CIH, CSP, member of the AIHA Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) Committee and President of IAQA, stated.
