In the spirit of the holiday season, on November 21, 2011, Mel Trotter Ministries and local radio station NEWSRADIO WOOD 1300 held their 8th Annual Great Thanksgiving Turkey Drop to help feed hungry families in West Michigan. Summit Training Source, a local family-owned business, donated 100 frozen turkeys to the Turkey Drive, thankful to be able to help needy families in our area. Summit is proud to make this donation for their community and encourages others to donate as well.
“We are lucky to be in a position to give back to our community,” comments Bryan Hornik, General Manager of Summit Training Source. “The Turkey Drop is an outstanding vehicle for members of our community to act in a giving manner. I applaud the efforts of everyone involved.”
