On Tuesday, November 1st, Speakman Company welcomed Delaware’s Governor Jack Markell and Richard Geisenberger, Chief Deputy Secretary of State & Director of Corporations, for a visit to Speakman Company and a tour of the factory. Additionally, Governor Markell and Richard Geisenberger assisted Speakman in welcoming International customers who support the exports of Speakman products internationally.
Governor Markell met with the some of Speakman’s International customers, from Australia, Mexico, Israel, Bolivia, Costa Rica, and Ecuador, to share his appreciation of the business relationships with Speakman and its positive impact on the Delaware economy.
Governor Markell then toured the Speakman factory and spoke with fellow employees. He spoke of his appreciation for the dedication from Speakman employees and their support to aiding the quality and production of Speakman products. Governor Markell supports Speakman in its efforts to expand the company and its product offerings, to increase their contribution in the growth of the Delaware economy.
