LJB principal Thomas Kramer, P.E., C.S.P., is this year’s recipient of the Charles V. Culbertson Outstanding Service Award, given by the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE). The award is given to recognize one individual who provides significant service to the organization and the safety profession.
The award will be presented during the House of Delegates meeting prior to the ASSE Professional Development Conference in Chicago on June 12. Kramer has served in various roles for the ASSE organization, and he chairs two subcommittees of the ASSE/ANSI Z359 fall protection standards committee. He also serves as president of the International Society for Fall Protection.
“The goal of my professional life is to reduce risk for workers at heights,” Kramer said. “I appreciate ASSE for its similar commitment to encouraging safety; I am proud to be associated with such a great organization.”
