Celebrating 100 years of service
This is a special year for ASSE, as the Society marks its 100th anniversary - 100 years of dedicated service to protecting people, property and the environment. With more than 4,000 attendees expected and what is sure to be a recording-breaking exposition, ASSE promises that SAFETY 2011 will be the most dynamic conference ever, bringing a wide variety of perspectives to attendees through specialized sessions packed with valuable educational programming.
The Executive Summit Panel, consisting of CEOs, presidents and vice presidents from a range of industries, provides a valuable view of safety from top leaders, delivering expert advice and firsthand testimonials to give SH&E professionals the tools to better understand their role, communicate more effectively with senior management, and overcome organizational obstacles.
Exposition floor highlights include Safety Through the Ages, an exhibit showcasing a variety of memorabilia, artifacts, photos and displays of safety through the decades and milestones of the Society. In the Chapter and Practice Specialty Pavilion, chapters, regions, practice specialties and common interest groups will tell their stories and offer information and displays of their activities and events. There will also be a “100 Women Making a Difference in Safety” display from the Women in Safety Engineering Common Interest Group (WISE).
Be a part of the excitement. Learn from the successes of other professionals and organizations, take away the most successful best practices in the industry, network with your peers and earn CEUs. The interactions you have with experts and colleagues will arm you with tools to bring additional value to your organization.
