The Voluntary Protection Programs Participants’ Association, Inc. (VPPPA) is the leading organization dedicated to cooperative occupational safety, health and environmental management systems. A nonprofit 501(c)(3), VPPPA is member-based, providing a network of more than 2,100 companies and worksites that are involved in applying to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) or the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) and other, similar agency programs.
The VPPPA provides members from a wide variety of industries a direct link to OSHA, DOE and similar agencies within State-Plan States and works closely with agencies in the development and implementation of cooperative programs. The VPPPA provides comments and stakeholder feedback on rulemakings and policies and comments and testimony regarding legislation impacting worker health and safety and the environment. Through the VPPPA, occupational safety, health and environmental leaders get opportunities for networking, education and professional development.
