NSC Webinar: Root Causes and Accident Investigations (5/2)
The National Safety
Council (NSC) will host a Webinar on May 20 from 10 to 11 a.m. CDT focusing on
accident investigations to correct and prevent future incidents, according to
an NSC release.
The featured speaker is Lisa Long, an OSHA safety engineer specializing in process safety. Before coming to OSHA in 2007, Long worked for the U.S. Chemical Safety Board for seven years investigating major chemical accidents. She also has 10 additional years of experience in the chemical industry, working at several different plants in process engineering and production management. Long holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
Prior to this, on May 14, NSC will sponsor a Webinar on “Are You Communicating Safety?” featuring Joann Dankert, senior consultant with NSC.
