Industrial glove demand grew 4.7 percent in 2007 over 2006, according to a new study from the International Glove Association (IGA).
The IGA’s 2003 to 2007 U.S. hand protection market demand study shows that industrial glove demand had a 6.5 percent compound annual growth rate over the five-year study period. The IGA detailed significant product shifts within the U.S. consumption for the member companies.
The IGA is dedicated exclusively to gloves and glove-related issues. The study was reviewed at the 2008 IGA annual meeting, held March 17-19.
The study is available to IGA members only. To learn more about the study, visitwww.iga-online.comor emailgloves@windstream.net.
