‘Inspires, connects, and drives the industry forward’

This time, the focus was on two of the most important megatrends: digitization and sustainability. Particularly noteworthy were the innovations in the field of digitization in the work environment, which were presented for the first time at the trade fair. Smart wearables and PPE, order apps for hazardous materials management, AI-based health coaches as well as virtual reality applications and exoskeletons are examples of technologies that lead the world of work into a digital and sustainable direction. These developments not only support workplace safety but also help to increase efficiency and create healthier work environments.

“This year’s A+A has addressed current issues and challenges, provided food for thought, demonstrated approaches to solutions and promoted personal exchange. We are delighted with the positive feedback and would like to thank everyone for the trust they have placed in us,” said Lars Wismer, Director of A+A. “It was great to see how the trade fair as a platform inspires, connects and drives the industry forward.”

Stefan Brück, CEO of Uvex Safety Group GmbH & Co KG and new Chairman of the A+A Advisory Board, underlined the high relevance and importance of A+A: “As an exhibitor, we are particularly pleased with the international attendance and high quality of the visitors.”

The Start-up Zone not only provided an exhibition space for young and innovative companies, but also an exceptional networking platform to connect with top occupational health and safety decision makers.

A special feature at A+A 2023 was again the successful North American Pavilion, organized by Messe Düsseldorf North America. Overall, 44 U.S. companies showcased their products at the trade fair.
