The advisory board of A+A, the leading international trade fair with congress for safety, security and health at work, will soon be under new leadership. Stefan Brück, CEO and Chairman of the Board at UVEX SAFETY GROUP GmbH & Co. KG, Fürth (Germany), who has been a member of the A+A advisory board for 7 years, will be the new Chairman. He succeeds Klaus Bornack, Managing Director at Bornack GmbH & Co. KG, who successfully headed the advisory board for 12 years. The transition will take place during A+A 2023 (October 24 – 27, 2023 in Düsseldorf, Germany).

Looking back on the past years with gratitude, Klaus Bornack said: “A+A has also developed on an international scale as the leading international trade fair for occupational safety and health and it has given me pleasure to jointly shape this phase as a Chairman of the Advisory Board. Over this time, A+A has further consolidated its position on the world market and hence become even more attractive for trade fair visitors as well as the exhibiting companies. In Stefan Brück, a recognized personality in the industry will take over the Chair. Together with the other members of the advisory board members, he will lead A+A successfully into the future.

Stefan Brück has played a key role in shaping the development of the UVEX SAFETY GROUP into one of the leading innovators in the international PPE industry. He brings more than 30 years of industry experience to his future tasks and is already looking forward to the new challenge. “My short and medium-term aim is to move such themes as sustainability but also new technologies and innovations even more into focus in occupational safety. This also includes digital products and solutions such as AI, Virtual Reality or Augmented Reality applications,” explained Stefan Brück. “I look forward to contributing to develop A+A further as the world leading trade fair and increasing the social, economic and ecological relevance of PPE on a global scale all year round.”

“With his pioneering spirit, his market knowledge as well as his strong commitment, Klaus Bornack has been absolutely instrumental to the growth and the success of A+A. With his 50-year experience in the industry and his international network, Klaus Bornack will continue to shape A+A as an advisory board member,” stated Erhard Wienkamp, Managing Director at Messe Düsseldorf.

In a globally connected and digital world, matters related to sustainable occupational safety and security, which also involve supply chains, play an increasingly important role. The world of work is undergoing a massive transformation process worldwide – and this will also be crucial for sustainable development.
