Lars Wismer, director of A+A, International Trade Fair for Safety, Security and Health at Work, talks to us about the world’s leading trade show for the occupational health and safety industry and what makes it stand apart from other events.

A+A and the 38th A+A Congress for Occupational Safety and Health will be held at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany from October 24 – 27, 2023 and will focus on the mega trends sustainability and digitalization.

Wismer has worked as a Senior Project Manager for 16 years, and he knows Messe Düsseldorf very well. In addition, he has extensive experience in the management and marketing of large, international events.

In this episode, Wismer talks a little bit about what goes into planning such a large event and what it entails. He also discusses why sustainability is driving the direction of this year’s A+A event, and what it means for the industry.
