Early bird registration is now open for SafetyFOCUS 2020, the annual immersive education event offered by the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP). Formerly known as Seminarfest, SafetyFOCUS 2020 is a week-long event that comprehensively covers the industry’s most relevant topics over eight days.
SafetyFOCUS 2020 takes place Feb. 13-20 in Las Vegas. The full-day course format – organized by experience level and industry tracks – allows attendees to gain deep knowledge on specific topics while building a schedule that fits their professional development needs. More than 1,000 safety professionals will return to their jobs with the latest ideas and approaches to organizational improvement and workplace safety and health, empowering them to emerge as company leaders.
SafetyFOCUS 2020 enables attendees to earn a significant number of continuing education units in one setting, reducing costly and time-consuming travel.
“Companies want their safety and health professionals to learn about the latest industry developments, but they also are mindful about the costs of continuing education,” said ASSP President Diana Stegall, CSP, CFPS, ARM, SMS, CPCU. “SafetyFOCUS provides an opportunity to absorb a lot of valuable material at a single location.”
SafetyFOCUS 2020 will feature more than 100 courses from 50 expert facilitators. Attendees interact face-to-face with hundreds of safety professionals in expanding their network of contacts who share their passion for finding solutions to safety and health challenges.
Early bird rates are available through Oct. 17. To learn how groups from the same company can save on the entire education event, contact ASSP group coordinator Nancy O’Toole at 847.768.3466 or notoole@assp.org. Get more information about SafetyFOCUS 2020 at SafetyFOCUS.assp.org.
