Two speakers at the 2019 NSC Congress & Expo address serious safety and security issues that safety professionals must increasingly grapple with.

Delivering the Occupational Keynote speech on Tuesday, September 10 from 8 to 9 a.m. will be Jack Jackson, Senior Safety Consultant for SafeStart®.

Jackson’s speech is entitled, “It Can Happen Here: Workplace Security.” He will discuss organizational preparedness in terms of security/safety procedures for unexpected incidents including threats, domestic/sexual violence, stalking or worse. Attendees concerned about the possibility of workplace violence and the need for enhanced security will find many useful takeaways in this session. Jackson will introduce you to three key areas that companies need to address in order to keep their employees safe from potential violence.

On Wednesday, September 11 at 8 to 9 a.m., the Leadership Keynote speech will be delivered by Jim Carroll. The international futurist, trends and innovation expert will discuss, “Aligning to Velocity: Mitigating Safety Risk in the Era of Acceleration.”
