The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) – the leading association for the construction industry - will hold its first-ever Construction Safety, Health + Environmental Conference on July 23-25, 2019, in Seattle, Washington.
The AGC says the conference will “hone in on the most critical safety, health, and environmental compliance and risk issues impacting the business of construction.” Educational options for attendees will be provided through plenary and breakout sessions which cover issues in three broad categories:
- Managing safety, health, and environmental requirements and risk
- Factoring safety, health, and environmental concerns into phases of a project
- Expanding your knowledge and skills
Who should attend? According to the AGC, “Whether your goal is protecting the safety and health of the men and women working in construction or protecting the environment during the construction process – this is the conference for you.”
AGC will hold a pre-conference day of roundtable discussions - the In-House Environmental Managers Meeting - for environmental managers working in-house at construction firms on July 22, 2019. Registration for that meeting will be separate.
