The major players involved in holding the 2019 National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction will host a webinar to help would-be participants make the most of the event.

Falls are the top cause of construction fatalities and account for a third of on-the-job injuries and deaths in the industry.

The hour-long webinar will bring together leaders from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), OSHA and the Center for Construction Research and Training (CPWR).

It will showcase the past successes of the campaign – which began in 2012 - and highlight plans for this year’s Safety Stand-Down, which will run May 6-10.
