Ergodyne has announced the release of its new ProFlex® 230LTR Leather Knee Pads, built for protecting the long-term knee health of workers in trades like welding, construction, flooring, concrete work and more.
The new addition – a leather-wrapped take on Ergodyne’s popular ProFlex® 230 Knee Pads – provides an option previously unavailable in the safety gear manufacturer’s knee protection offering.
“The genuine leather provides exceptional protection against sparks, slag and fire along with the abrasion resistance to withstand shift after shift of kneeling on the toughest surfaces,” said Chris Cota, senior product manager, Ergodyne.
With cushy nitrile rubber foam that keeps its shape over time and wider-than-traditional design for extended coverage, the ProFlex® 230LTR aims to minimize the cumulative damage done to knees, which can carry close to 90 percent of a worker’s body weight while in the kneeling position.
