Two workers plunged to their deaths Wednesday morning when scaffolding on a hotel under construction outside the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida collapsed.
News reports say the two fell seven stories. They were among workers who were pouring concrete between the sixth and seventh floors of the building.
The victims were identified as 46-year-old Jerry Bell and 34-year-old Lorenzo Zavala.
Mike Jachles, a spokesman for Orange County Fire Rescue, said a third work was able to cling to the scaffold and pull himself up. He suffered minor injuries.
The JW Marriott hotel under construction that was the site of the accident is due to be completed in 2019.
OSHA is investigating.
