A 21-year-old contract worker in Elkhart, Indiana was electrocuted Friday morning while working on power lines owned by Indiana Michigan Power. News sources say the victim, who was employed by Robert Henry Corp., made contact with an active power line. He died at the scene.
The man, who was a contractor for Robert Henry Corp., was working on lines owned by Indiana Michigan Power.
Indiana Michigan Power released the following statement:
On the morning of Friday, July 13, 2018 a Robert Henry Corporation contractor working in Elkhart with Indiana Michigan Power was fatally injured. The I&M family expresses our deepest condolences to the contractor’s friends and loved ones.
The accident is under investigation.
