As usual, AIHce offers many opportunities to learn about new products via “learning pavilions” on the expo floor. The pavilions have various presenters throughout the day, continuing each day of the conference, who showcase their latest products and technology while answering questions. Software and intelligent technology were on display Monday.
Some of the tech from Monday’s presentations included:
A gas analyzer from Gasmet Technologies that identifies unknown gases within “minutes of arriving at site by searching the NIST/EPA reference library of over 5,000 gases simultaneously at sub-ppm levels.”
A fully automated microscope uses artificial intelligence to diagnose asbestos and mold in xRapid’s latest platform. Slides can be read with the push of a button and a complete report and photo backup are available within minutes.
Digitized safety inspections using an app from Pulpstream that helped reduce operating costs and created safer work environments for a national construction company. The platform technology enables users to manage workflow in health and safety programs and lets the user conduct site audits in the app itself, attach photos of violations and fill in OSHA standards.
An intelligent respirator fit test by TSI provides users with more than a basic fit test. It provides staff training, mask selection/sizing and record keeping.
Humantech’s system helps companies manage workplace ergonomics. The software has interactive training modules that helps users identify and fix problems and monitor progress.
