For the first time, NSC is hosting an Auto Safety Tech Zone on the Expo floor with Ford, Toyota, FCA US and General Motors. All four car manufacturers will display vehicles equipped with cutting edge safety technologies that are paving the way toward advanced driver systems.
Motor vehicle crashes remain the leading cause of workplace deaths, and they are on the rise after decades of decline. Technology can be a life-saving solution, but only if it is embraced and understood. The Auto Tech Safety Zone aims to educate visitors about emerging vehicle technologies and how they can mitigate crash risk. Toyota, Fiat-Chrysler, Ford, and General Motors all will display vehicles with cutting edge technologies that can prevent crashes from happening and transform the way people drive.
The Auto Safety Tech Zone will take place Monday and Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
