The American Industrial Hygiene Association® (AIHA) is collecting information from its members for what will be its first-ever "State of the EH&S Industry" survey.
The association has partnered with EH&S software provider Enviance, for the survey, which it says will help develop a greater understanding of the issues impacting a company's ability to keep employees healthy, safe and productive.
AIHA has asked its members to partake in the survey and in an effort to show their appreciation, everyone who participates in the survey will receive a complimentary copy of AIHA's 2017 State of the EH&S Industry Report.
"Our members are valued experts in the EH&S community, their feedback is crucial to AIHA's mission to bridge the gap between employers and employees and to keep workers healthy and safe," said Lawrence Sloan, CAE, CEO of AIHA. "We look forward to sharing the results of the survey and appreciate all of our participants' time and effort."
The survey will open on April 25, 2017 and close on May 10, 2017. In addition to providing a complimentary copy of the survey report to all participants, the results of the survey will be presented by representatives from the AIHA and Enviance at AIHce EXP conference in Seattle, WA on Tuesday, June 6, 2017.
"We look forward to working with AIHA on the inaugural State of the EH&S Industry survey," noted Amy Stelling, CEO of Enviance. "As a first step in managing what matters, our hope is that the survey findings help organizations prioritize issues impacting employee wellness so that preventive solutions can be designed and implemented."
