With about 100 exhibitors from 17 nations on 58,000 square feet of net space, the second staging of TOS+H (Turkish Occupational Safety + Health Exhibition) will be more international and larger than before. Exhibiting nations include Austria, Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Germany, France, India, Italy, Japan, Pakistan, Poland, Spain and Sri Lanka as well as Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. The 30% increase in exhibit space is an indication of the strong interest the industry takes in the Turkish market and the neighboring region.
Organized by Messe Düsseldorf and Tezulas Fuar, the event will be held from May 8 - 11, 2016 at the Halic Congress Center in Istanbul, Turkey. The VIII International Occupational Health and Safety Conference of the Turkish Ministry of Labour and Social Security will take place concurrently.
Messe Düsseldorf is renowned as the organizer of A+A, the world’s No. 1 Trade Fair for Safety, Security and Health at Work, held every two years in Düsseldorf, Germany.
“In combination with the International Occupational Health and Safety Conference, TOS+H Expo gives trade visitors an information, discussion and market platform for all topics and trends related to safe and healthy workplaces that is unique in the region. The focal theme at the trade fair is once again Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). A segment with an especially high number of innovations is safe working at heights – be it on scaffolding or secured by the appropriate rope protection, “ stated Birgit Horn, A+A Director at Messe Düsseldorf.
“From the start, TOS+H Expo has stirred the interest of the leading firms in occupational safety, both in Turkey and the rest of the world. Being the only trade fair specialized in this industry on the Turkish market we will also post positive growth with TOS+H in the years to come,” explained Demet Tezulas, owner of Tezulas Fuar.
