A 32-year-old shop manager at a Council Bluffs, Iowa truck repair and service center died in an accident last week.

Omaha resident Andy Stroud, who’d worked at the company for about three years, was working on the suspension system of an ambulance, attempting to locate a leak in the suspension, when the system failed for unknown reasons, trapping him underneath the vehicle.

He was declared dead at the scene.

Stroud leaves behind a four-year-old daughter and his wife, Shala, who is expecting another girl in December.
