NIOSH is celebrating N95 Day on Sept. 4, 2015. N95 is a category of respirators commonly used by healthcare personnel tested and certified by NIOSH. The agency is partnering with the Joint Commission to highlight two new educational products, Hospital Respiratory Protection Program Toolkit: Resources for Respirator Program Administrators (National Toolkit), and Implementing Hospital Respiratory Protection Programs: Strategies from the Field.
A webinar (Friday, September 4, 2015 12:00:00 PM EDT - 1:00:00 PM EDT)will cover an array of NIOSH-supported research, including the REACH I and REACH II studies and outcomes, and other new resources and training modules.
Topics will include the key components of a respiratory protection program, the processes used to develop the educational resources and the importance of organizational leadership and performance improvement.
The Joint Commission, as an accredited provider, is offering 1.0 Continuing Education Credit from:
